This page is a courtesy English summary of our Turkish Privacy Policy (KVKK Aydınlatma Metni), which governs under Turkish law (Law No. 6698). In case of any discrepancy, the Turkish version prevails.

1. Data Controller

Under Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK"), your personal data collected through frigg.design ("the Site") is processed by Frigg Design as data controller, within the scope described below.

2. Categories of Personal Data Processed

• Identity and contact information: full name, email, phone
• Customer transaction information: order history, cart contents, favorite products, reviews
• If marketing consent is given: birth month, newsletter subscription preference
• Transaction security information: IP address, session information, browser information
• Payment information: payment is processed exclusively through our licensed payment provider (PayTR) — your card details are never stored on our servers.

3. Purposes of Processing

• Account creation, order taking and order fulfillment
• Product delivery and shipment tracking
• Responding to customer service requests (contact form, reviews, stock/price alerts)
• Where consent is given, email marketing (campaigns, new products, birth-month content) — this consent can be withdrawn free of charge at any time with a single click (via the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of every email)
• Fulfilling legal obligations (invoicing, financial records, consumer rights)
• Ensuring the security of the Site (abuse and fraud prevention)

4. Legal Basis

Your personal data is processed based on the legal grounds set out in Articles 5 and 6 of KVKK: where directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract, fulfillment of a legal obligation, the data controller's legitimate interest provided it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms, and where you have given explicit consent (such as for marketing).

5. Sharing of Personal Data

Your personal data may be shared with our contracted shipping company for delivery, our email infrastructure provider (Brevo) for email communication, our payment provider (PayTR) for payment processing, and authorized public authorities where legally required, in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of KVKK. Your data is not transferred abroad.

6. Retention Period

Your personal data is retained for as long as required by the purpose of processing and any applicable statutory retention periods (e.g. Turkish Commercial Code, Tax Procedure Law); it is deleted, destroyed or anonymized at the end of these periods.

7. Your Rights Under KVKK Article 11

Under Article 11 of KVKK, you may apply to us to: learn whether your personal data is being processed; request information about it if so; learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly; know the third parties to whom it is transferred domestically or abroad; request correction if processed incompletely or incorrectly; request deletion or destruction within the conditions set out in KVKK; request that corrections/deletions be notified to third parties to whom the data was transferred; object to a result that is to your detriment arising from the exclusive analysis of processed data through automated systems; and request compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing.
